I'd like to organize a proactive even to show DA the possible results of a permanent Eclipse change-over. Instead of deactivating your accounts for good, or indefinitely boycotting the site, I'd like to make a Statement of Silence for those Users against Eclipse. Starting May 1st, I will not be active on Deviantart. I will not submit new deviations, journals or even visit the site for 3 Days time. From May 1st to May 3rd. I ask all all other Users who wish to keep old Deviantart to join me in this statement of silence.
Perhaps the abrupt halt and slow down of site traffic will show DA team members the devastating effects this could have on their audiences they cater to. They have failed to listen when we speak out... perhaps they will listen to The Sound Of Silence.

ive decided im going to stay on the site no matter what. Of course. I will be emensly less active because of how impossible eclipse is to nagivate.. but i believe that people on here still need support. And who knows, maybe DA will fix their shitty problems in the future. Ya never know ig... but I will be semi moving to Toyhouse and will be most active there ;;

i'm totally scared of eclipse too.. it's driving people away and impossibly hard to navigate for me... i don't like how it looks or functions. i don't get why dA can't update their regular site slowly instead of starting completely new and changing everything all at once! well, anyways. i'm sorry some people are being rude to you about it. we're all allowed to be concerned and upset about the site we frequent changing so much all at once...

Im not concerned for myself. I am worried what DA will turn into after many many artists decide to leave. I will be staying on DA no matter what Infact. I am concerned for the artists that rely on DA as their main source of income, and how Eclipse is potentially ruining that for them.
If you are the 1/100 person that decides to be opposite and quirky, Then I am glad I found you.
Please be like the others who enjoy eclipse at the moment and just enjoy it peacefully as an optional feature.
