I use a digital filter with my editing tool, almost the same thing as a real filter.

Okay, I'm faving another one of your "purple" works. Either you love adjusting the colors to purple...or you regularly have purple sunsets--a color that is rare here.

When the sky is clear... we do often get the purple sunsets, however when i put the vibrancy higher it turns more purple

There you have it. I'm not certain I've ever seen a purple sunset. Maybe the slightest tinge of lilac or lavender but really it's pink or yellow or orange.
