Goodness, this turned out better than I expected! Which is great! Boy, am I happy!I started applying my shadows based on the direction of the light this time, and look how well it turned out! Seriously, it helps!
This is for 2 of my classmates, well maybe 3. 2 asked for a Squirtle and one kept on changing their minds then settled on Chikorita. I decided to put them in one picture. They're so cute together!
What their doing is growing a tree, as you can see (hopefully).

This was my 2nd time doing any Pokemon fanart, and the first time I've added a Lense Flare to my pic. It's also the first time I've tried to draw water. I think it turned out nicely, thanks to the sparkles. What do you guys' think?
Made with Photoshop CS4, pencil, and mouse. NO TABLET.

I have two pokeballs in my purse. Today randomly in the middle of chemistry class I whipped out Squirtle and threw him across the room and yell "USE WATER GUN!"
It didn't work. WHAT A RIP OFF.
Anyway, I really like this, Chikorita looks so cute, and Squirtle is one of my favourites!

very nice! its so super cute
you should make your shadows a little bit darker on the animals so that they can
pop out of the picture, to me it seems like they are almost blending in with the background.
but other than that it looks very cool keep it up, and work on darkening the shaded areas a bit

The sight of Squirtle watering the plant with a Chikorita nearby is really adorable and the colors are so pretty.
