*Tropic bats a starfish at Pepi and ends up hitting pepi with a starfish and slapping himself in the face*

*The starfish clings onto Pepi for dear life as he starts screeching, flapping his small fins and even scraping his face against the sand to try and get rid of it, all the while screeching some more.
*Eventually he ends up bulldozing into poor Tropic, flipping then landing onto his face with a THUD...well...at least the starfish came off...?
(I usually don't rp but i honestly couldn't pass this up, Tropic's adorable.)

*Tropic makes sure that Pepi is alright, and then admits he has absolutely no idea how to play badminton, and shyly asks if Pepi can teach him?*

*Pepi quickly dusts and obsessively cleans the two shells on his tail, once that's done, he gives Tropic a big goofy toothed grin, and explains about the importance of controlling his tail, he quickly grabs the starfish and tells Tropic to prepare himself as he leaps into the air, batting the starfish his way*

*Tropic goes to bat the starfish but ends up tripping over. After a couple more attempts Tropic manages to successfully hit a starfish back and starts making very happy squeaky. He then gets back into position to try again*

*Pepi mimics Tropic's gleeful squeaks and cheerfully hops around him, letting out a celebratory squeak each jump he does, he then hastily grabs the starfish and scutters back to position. Pepi begins scuttering left and right, explaining (or well...screeching maybe a little too loud...) that he wants to help Tropic with how he angles his tail, he jumps about, then quickly bats the starfish to Tropic's left, waiting in anticipation.*
(aaaa i bet it'd look super pretty! Id be happy to lend a hand in my spare time aswell if it'd help?

*Tropic bats at the starfish but it goes the complete opposite direction, and he runs off to get it. When he comes back he and Pepi continue batting the starfish. After a an hour or so Tropic is able to hit the starfish in the right direction. Lifting up his tail and spreading his wings, be challenges Pepi to a badminton war*

*Upon hearing Tropic's words, Pepi's face immediately goes from gleeful, to a face filled with pure determination. Pepi quickly picks up the starfish, flips it several times with his tail and catches it, all the while eyeing Tropic with a confident smirk, he quickly skitters a fair distance away and readies himself, his stomping on the sand, cheerful chirps and flapping of his fins clearly letting Tropic know he's ready. After a long pause, Pepi throws the starfish and makes a giant leap, batting the starfish with a large amount of force towards Tropic and lands a little clumsily onto his feet.*

*Tropic's throws a small yet playful glare at pepi and bats the starfish back to them with a well-aimed hit. He carefully watches pepi to see how pepi responds*

*The game goes on for several hours until both Tropic and Pepi can no longer even lift a single fin, both panting and exhausted, they both slump down onto the sand, declaring the war a well earned tie. After a while of rest, Pepi skitters off from Tropic and comes back with something, a medal which he had made himself, on the bottom, a singular, rather large white and red colored coquina shell which he had polished and cleaned to perfection.*
(Me too, i think now's a pretty happy note to end it, so happy my boi's made a new friend~ )

*Tropic puts on pepi's medal, with a squek of thanks, before lokking around a bit and stamping his feet, he then runs to a different spot in the sand and starts digging. He uncovers a rather large, extremely beautiful shell, and gestures for pepi to have it. He gives a squeak of thanks and a promise of another game as he dashes off!*

*Pepi watches Tropic leave whilst clinging onto his now new gift in his fins, he lets out a happy chirp and begins his journey home, admiring the beauty of his shell every step of the way~*
