Does it ever annoy you when people go on about how you look? I've never been given many compliments, especially not this many. But I would think that, eventually, they all just sound the same and you tend to become numb to it, or stop believing people? I hope this doesn't sound like some snide remark, it's actually an honest question. I'm sure being ΓΌber attractive has many perks, but I would imagine that you would eventually have to wonder if people ever look deeper than that?

In all honesty I don't and never have, taken compliments well. It's kinda weard. I'm just a normal smuck, but when I'm half naked suddenly I'm overly attractive? It doesn't make sence to me....

It must be the animalistic instinct in us. You seem to have more patience with it than I would, though. I would probably end up tossing myself into a depression because people didn't take the time to know who I was.

My appearence has taken me no-where. In some peoples eyes I have acomplished cool and great things, but if anything in my eyes each passing moment without success I see myself as a falure. It's odd, isn't it? While I work hard on my body all I can see is my flaws. Just how I'm wired I guess...

Well, in that respect, we're all the same. Well, most of us. There are those people floating around thinking they're a walking gift to the rest of us. haha But that overplayed saying, "We're all our own best critic", holds true. I only asked because it always seems (stereotypically) that the 'pretty' people get further with less effort. Maybe they do, maybe they don't. Like you, I have phases of feeling comfortable with myself, and others where I just see everything that I consider a flaw.

I might add that what I get out of life is in direct proportion to what I put into it. The door may be opened because individuals may find me attractive, but unless there is substance to me, it's closed in very short order...
