Description Kiriban prize for *Chrisabell

I am so sorry I took so long. Classes have been keeping me busy and I haven't had the length of time to spare to really dedicate myself to working on this. But I love the result.

Here is beautiful Hope strolling through the misty forest in autumn. I like the kind of spooky feel the moon and the mist has on the image. I thoroughly enjoyed this process.

Please give me critique on this--not the character since she's not mine--but the art itself. Style, technique, the water, all that jazz. The water looks better scanned than in real life, and I don't like that. Be polite, but tell me what I can do in the future to do better. And, I know...the shadows don't all match up. Unfortunately that's a result of working on this in patches of 30 minutes over nearly two months.
I also apologize if her coloring is a little off. The colored pencils are shaded a little differently than the digital image.

And I don't know how many times through I listened to Coldplay's beautiful album "Viva la Vida." Spectacularly haunting music.

if you need to practise mixing masses of colors, do it with skies. skies look good even if there is tons of random color in there

Lovely. I adore the perfect shading and anatomy and texture... from a thumbnail, I thought it was a photomanipulation of a horse! Never have I seen such expert skill. I'm very, very, very envious of your talent. Keep it up, it's amazing.
