Yes, I suppose that is true...
...So this one time when I was younger I smashed by bike into the side of my moms car and left a dent big enough to be noticed and she was very displeased...

I once had this really serious thing happen to me involving a bloody nose. Its pretty much one of the biggest things that has ever happened in my life but I prefer not to talk about it to people over the internet because it tends to gross them out a bit when I start talking about blood and mildly gorey medical stuff.

Well, my story is a lot more severe so fair warning.
I had a bloody nose that lasted a week. I lost an alarming amount of blood and baffled the ENT doctor because whenever he cuarterized my nose or took out the stuffing it just wouldn't stop.
When it finally did stop we discovered about a week later that it was caused by a rare tumor that only develops in teenage males. As a result I underwent one major surgery where they had to bring in a neurosurgeon and three minor surgeries, on top of that I lost 60% of my hearing in my right ear, I have three scars, I have a metal piece in my head (not externally of course), and every 6 months I had to go back for scans to be sure it doesn't come back for 11 years afterwards, these scans required me to have an IV needle for the contrast and I HATE needles.
...Oh, and there was this time when I smashed my finger in some folding tables and it was purple for a few days...

Well, I spared some of the less desirable details. I also forgot to mention that the top - right part of my mouth is permanently semi numb.
But on the bright side now I have three cool scars on my stomach, back, and another one just above my hairline so you can't really see it. I also have a really tiny scar right where my left leg connects to my torso. The most annoying parts have to be my ear and that metal piece because now I need to go through a special scanner at airports and places like that and I cant let water into my bad ear.

The first time I ever drove a car was on a rather steep uphill road with lots of parked cars on either side and my mom and little sister sitting in the car with me. Long story short if my mom hadn't pulled the emergency brake I could have killed us.

I once almost drowned when I was 5. We were at a house out in a small rural town in Nevada that belonged to my parents friends. They had a pool out in the backyard and a bunch of those bubble wand tubes.
Well I was out there alone with a yellow (or maybe green) bubble tube because my mom had to step inside. I accidentally spilled the soap solution all over the edge of the pool and dropped the tube into the water. When I reached out to grab it I slipped on the soap and flipped into the water. Because I was 5 rather than calming down and simply swimming up I absolutely panicked and started flailng wildly and screaming for help. A few minutes later my parents heard me and saved me before my panicking resulted in me drowning. I also have three other stories about the time I got utterly rejected by my first major crush and a time I fell out of a speed boat out on a lake and did three cartwheels over the surface of the water like a skipping stone, also this one time I got so scared by a noise from my bathroom that it permanently scarred me a little bit.
...just a lot of stories involving me suffering in some way.

Well about 2 of those 3 or 4 stories I talked about before (because almost all 4 of these are short). We were out on a lake in Flaming Gorge on the border between Utah and Wyoming (because a lot of my family live in Salt Lake City they go to Flaming Gorge a lot on special occasions) in my Granddad's speedboat. He had a 'tube' which is basically an inflatable craft you attach to the back of a speedboat and drag behind with 3 or 4 people in it. While I was on it, it flipped over while the boat was moving at max speed. I went flying through the air, unintentionally performed three cartwheels whilst skipping over the surface of the water, and plunged in with my life jacket making me float back to the surface.
The second story is also rather short so I might as well get it out of the way in one comment.
My parents had a few new friends about 6 or 7 years after the pool incident and we were up in the sort of area where it's like dry desert but also mountainous in Nevada. They brought one of those weird fourwheelers that's kinda like an offroad golf cart. Well another couple brought their kids, whom included their daughter whom I had a massive crush on. I decided to be a suave guy and make a move while I was driving her around and everything seemed to be going alright. That is up until she asked me my age. I was honest and as it turns out I was three years younger than she thought I was because of my height. She never talked to me again. Thus one of the major reasons why every time I've ever felt anything for someone of the opposite gender since I never even try to talk to them out of fear of utter rejection and being humiliated. Which adds onto my major fears of needles and falling.

A couple of years ago me and my sister were at Target when we happened to come across a copy of GTA V in the games aisle. She put in about 35-36$ while I put in the rest. Now it's become a thing where I owe her money so I promised her that in my will after I die I'll give her 35$ and that's it, giving away whatever else I have to everyone else I know.

I actually have a story relating to Zootopia somewhat that I don't think I've shared. A good maybe three weeks or a month ago me, my sister, and my father all decided to get together and go see Zootopia because my sister has really been wanting to. We went to the movie theater at the Texas Station and got three tickets. I was a bit iffy about it because I've heard some rumors that it's kind of geared towards people in the furry fandom. I had no problem with that, I'm practically in that group, however because of this it made me feel a bit uncomfortable if it really did pander to furries and I was with a couple of close family members just because I didn't want to explain anything to them and I'm used to keeping most of my fandom stuff away from family. Anyhow we got there at 6:27 PM and the movie was supposed to begin at 6:30. So we decided to skip getting popcorn and stuff and headed straight for the theater. We sat down just as the lights began to dim for the last adverts before the movie actually begins (I guess 6:30 was just when they dim the lights) and I decided to volunteer to hurry up and go get the popcorn and stuff.
Well I thought this was gonna be a breeze because when we came in it didn't look like there was much of a line, however when I got down there (it's a two story theater) I noticed that a large family with 4 kids was in front of me in line. So they all got their popcorn and drinks and candy while I waited behind them. When I finally got up it took them a bit to get me my large popcorn and two medium drinks. That's when I realized another problem with my plan, I'm one guy and I need to carry up a large popcorn, two medium drinks, a handful of salt packets and napkins, and straws for the drinks all in one go. I was wearing a hoody with pockets so I stuffed the pockets with napkins and a couple of straws and perched the salt packets on top of the popcorn in the bowl. Then I realized that I had no way of holding onto the escalators railing and I have a fear of falling down escalators. So I took the stairs.
By the time I got back Judy was boarding the train to go to Zootopia and saying goodbye to her family. So I basically missed the entire movie before Judy boards the train. A good week later I told my sister this story and brought up some confusion I had as a result. She explained who Gideon Grey is (because when he showed up later in the movie like an established character when I hadn't seen him before it made me scratch my head) and that apparently I missed an explanation early in the film which brought some confusion when they started using terms like 'savage' seemingly without needing to think about it too much. Even despite her giving me minor details I told her not to tell me too much because I want to see the beginning myself at some point.

Well if you've seen my attempts at writing an actual full blown story with a plot you would probably think otherwise. At the very least it doesn't look good to me because I compare myself to a lot of very good writers. Obviously not professional writers moreso any web based story/fanfiction writer who is actually really good at what they do.

I don't really have very many favorite books anymore. When I was young I LOVED reading, so much so that I amazed teachers when I was reading at a college level speed in the third grade. However for a long while books have started to bore me. Kind of like how I was fascinated by space as a kid and wanted to become a scientist who studies space. I even got a really good telescope for Christmas once and had my room made into a space theme.
Unfortunately that telescope came around the time I discovered the internet and after that point was when my love for reading began to die too, the telescope was never opened. So I guess you could say dank memes destroyed all of my interests in life aside from videogames and in general lead me down a dark path in school aswell when my grades dropped. However on the bright side of things now I've begun writing quite a bit (even if I severely lack self confidence) and if it weren't for the internet I wouldn't have learned quite a bit, like what's socially accepted behaviour and I wouldn't have developed a lot of personality traits I currently have (for better or worse).

I knew about the internet for some time before it became big to me. It all started when one of my friends told me about a flash game website called Stickfigure.com or somethung like that. Even then I still saw it as a rather minor thing. It wasn't up until my mom introduced me to youtube that it really started my downward spiral. It started with 'cat versus dog' videos oddly enough and I never really explored beyond that, even rewatching the same thing multiple times in a short time frame. Then I discovered Garry's Mod and the light exposure it had on Youtube at the time. That was when I found videos where people put on demonstrations about forts they build. Eventually I continued expanding and even started reguarly visiting other sites. It's where I learned about a lot of things like Valve and a lot about movie companies and movies I would have otherwise not heard of. For example, Zootopia, particularly one of the early adverts from something like a year before the actual movie released.
I thought it was being made by Dreamworks up until they reguarly began advertising it around a month or two before the movies release because I skipped that ad and that one ad was all I had seen of it.

I remember I was playing Test Drive: Unlimited on the Xbox 360 in the living room of my house around 2:00 - 6:00 PM while my mom was sitting behind me on a laptop watching Raywilliamjohnson (=3). She was laughing a bit so I paused my game and asked what she was doing wherein she showed me Youtube.
I also remember that when I saw that ad for Zootopia I was using the same phone I'm typing with right now. I was laying on a bed whilst visiting some family in Utah. I remember that I skipped the ad because when it started explaining what anthropomorphic animals are I thought "Is this major Dreamworks movie about furries? Jeeze. Hope they survive the backlash. *skip ad*"

Up until I saw the movie I was very iffy about it. It didn't help when others began ponting fingers at it, especially after it's initial release. I wanted to see the movie but in a way where I wouldn't have to explain anything or if the movie turned out bad in any way feel bad in turn. So when I was idley sitting around and my sister brought up how she wanted to go see it I immediately thought of all the ways that it could go wrong and vetoed it, but reconsidered because even if I didn't want to see it (atleast not with others) I shouldn't stop her from seeing it.
Another thing to note, the entire time before I saw the movie after the point wherein it released I was trying to avoid spoilers, which was rather easy because most spoiler content was flagged as such. Up until the very last ten minutes before we went to see it, I was watching a video and the person in the video suddenly brought up Bellweather being the antagonist, completely ruining that twist. I panicked and closed the video before he could say something else. I was in denial all the way through the movie that she was the antagonist and hoped it was a joke and that definitely wasn't spoiled for me, so I felt like sighing in defeat when she revealed herself to be the antagonist. I also initially thought that going savage was gonna turn out to be a disease or otherwise contagious to some extent after noticing that when one animal attacked the other the victim eventually went savage (btw that tiger jumpscare in the mountainside asylum made me produce a weird involuntary noise between a scream and a shout and made my father yell out six incoherent swears in front of a full theater).
Overall I really liked the movie (and I'm not moderately obsessed with it). Like I said before there was some confusion from some parts I missed in the beginning and one of the biggest twists was spoiled to me right before I went to go see it. I forgot to mention that when I perched those salt packets on top of the popcorn I lost most of them and my drink wasn't very good, aside from that I had a good time.

Speaking of. I completely fell for Nick faking going savage. I was surprised that a Disney movie was willing to go the direction of having one of the main characters essentially being forced to attack the other main character. That is until they revealed the ruse. I noticed him eating the blueberries earlier and even thought 'Hey clever on the creators for taking note that foxes eat berries and such' but never put together the fact that he could have pulled off that whole plan.

Nickybuttons12345 In reply to AmnesiaticHyena [2016-06-11 08:04:54 +0000 UTC]
It's a French indie RPG PC videogame where you play as a baseball player (The Batter) with a cat (The Judge) and a dude named Zachary going around helping people out and making the dark world they live in pure and happy again not only by helping them directly but dethroning their evil leaders and getting rid of a bunch of ghosts that have been terrorizing them.
...It's a kind of a weird one but it's cool. It's got kind of a dark vibe at first when your fixing everything where everyone is identical people with business suits and ties working in offices, but once you go back through areas you already beat and see all the things you purified it takes on a really happy, good feeling knowing that you helped those people out so much.
It was really popular just a year ago, it had a fairly big fandom that lived from late 2012/2013 - mid 2015. Unfortunately the fandom for the game is pretty much dead at this point. People still post content about it but it's really difficult to find anything new. Even thought the fandom has been around since 2012/2013 (not entirely sure which) the game itself has been around since 2007 in French, the corrected English translation just came out in 2011.
If you want it's also completely free (albeit it doesn't use Steam). Just go to this link and unzip the file, there should be a shortcut in it that leads to the game at the bottom of the main file (it's gonna be an Application, above the second one). You'll also have to install the fonts that come with it just so the text in the game works (it uses a weird custom pixelated font).

Try not to look up the major characters in google, also try to avoid going too deep into any part of the wiki. The game is insanely spoiler heavy due to all the plot twists and surprise changes.
To give a less brief spoiler free synopsis of the plot you play as a puppeteer (it breaks the fourth wall a lot, referring to the player directly as a 'puppeteer') in control of a being called 'The Batter'. He's a strange creature that wears a black/white old timey looking baseball uniform, black baseball cap, black cleats, and looks fairly human, aside from being totally white in color. The Batter is on a 'holy quest' to purify all the zones of the land. In order to do so he needs to go find all the guardians of the zones (basically their managers) and kill them, before killing the queen of all the zones, along with eliminating any impure creatures like specters (basically ghosts) and The Burnt. The land is populated by creatures called Elsens. They are weird little people with square heads who wear suits and ties and work under the guardians. When they become too stressed out or deprived of sugar (they are insanely addicted to sugar) they freak out and become corrupt, these are the Burnt (because they are burnt out).
The first creature the Batter comes across is a lonely cat with a Cheshire grin living in the desolate zone 0 whom calls himself The Judge (or Pablo, although he doesn't prefer his actual name). He basically acts as a tutorial character and helps the Batter out with puzzles quite a bit through out the early - mid game. Eventually you also encounter Zachary, one of the two only actual humans in the entire game. He wears a mask all the time and acts as a merchant, selling the Batter items. Finally there is Dedan, Japhet, and Enoch, the guardians of zones 1, 2, and 3 (in that order), and the queen (whom has an actual name however she is only ever called it twice so I forgot it).

Don't mean to kill this conversation (this 1-2 month long one at that) but I wonder how long this reply chain is at this point on a Zootopia picture where we eventually went so far out of subject that we went from movie about animals and racism to personal life stories and eventually a French indie RPG about a cat and a dude in a baseball uniform.
