Description INTJ "The Inventor"
Applicator of ideas; builder of theoretical systems; self-confident; independent, reserved, single-minded, conceptual; seeks knowledge; not impressed with authority; determined, analytic, stubborn, skeptical, scientific; logical abstraction skilled.
Also referred to as 'The Mastermind'

Supposedly very rare, with figures ranging from less than one percent up to two percent of the adult population being this archetype.

Ever taken the Myer's Briggs personality test? I have for kicks and giggles, and I'm a total INTJ: [link]

I love this piece! Very cool and steampunky. I especially like the expression of the girl on the left. INTJ's all the way. (I'm one, too!)

Hmmm ... took the test myself.
"INFJ" is what I got. Pretty darn accurate if I do say so myself

INFJ is the psychometric profile of Wall-E and Luke Skywalker!

I've gone over this set in pretty thorough detail with Chris, but all as single images. I like the combination of the images here, it really adds a nice touch.
This really reminds me of a twin panel from "Girl Genius."

Thanks! I like sticking photos from a set together into conglomerates- it implies more of a story than single shots, methinks. I'm glad you like it

Seeing your combos REALLY makes me want to find a way to get you & Kassandra in the same place to do "Twins" pics LOL

Very old-fashioned gothic industrial look. I love it. It reminds me of H.G. Wells or H.P. Lovecraft kind of stories.

Ha, perfect that you mentioned those authors...steampunk (this style) is entirely based off what would have happened if Well's ideas about the future had come to life.

YES!! Score! That's awesome that you love H.G. Wells. He is a great source for imagery inspiration.

I hate those kinds of test. They always indicate that I'm a sociopath.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

IggyHazard In reply to 2wingo [2010-02-07 20:58:45 +0000 UTC]

"Sociopath" is a misused word these days, misapplied mostly by touchy-feely emotionally-guided pseudo-altruistic liberal hypocrites. True sociopaths, in the clinical sense of the word, are driven by sheer hedonistic emotion and have no self-control because they're worthless weaklings. INTJs (like me), on the other hand, are responsible to the point that we're often thought of as boring by the less dutiful. In reality, we are not boring. We are...efficient.

InterloperUX In reply to IggyHazard [2010-02-11 11:27:58 +0000 UTC]

I resent that. I think you'll find its psychopaths with limited self-control. Sociopaths simply have the good outlook.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

IggyHazard In reply to InterloperUX [2010-02-11 21:35:53 +0000 UTC]

Don't take it personally. Anyway, technically the term "sociopath" replaced the term "psychopath," so the words actually have the same meaning. Usually, when most people (mis)use the term "sociopath," what they mean is "misanthrope." In reality, those are two different personality disorders.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

InterloperUX In reply to IggyHazard [2010-02-12 06:47:07 +0000 UTC]

Exactly my point. There *are* distinct differences between traditional psychopathy, antisocial personality disorder and dissocial personality disorder. The latter are standard, current diagnoses which have been recently bundled together as a catch-all for psychopathy, sociopathy and anything inbetween when really, there are small but important differences. For example, one can be cunning, manipulative, possess a lack of empathy and superficial charm ie. the sociopath without being impulsive and violent (psychopath.)

IggyHazard In reply to InterloperUX [2010-02-13 00:02:42 +0000 UTC]

They must have changed the terminology again. For a lot of us INTJ types, we're very empathic. What we typically lack is the ability to share emotion in ways "normal" people understand because we're more "mind" people than "heart" people.

InterloperUX In reply to IggyHazard [2010-02-13 03:09:15 +0000 UTC]

I'm empathetic towards those who have suffered as I have. Everyone else could burn to death and... hell, honestly, I'd probably giggle at their screaming.
