I think Capcom gave up on Megaman because Inafune left, so this decreased their morale to a point they do not want to have anything to do with Megaman for a while.

From what I understand, it's the other way around. Inafune left because he saw the direction Capcom was heading and didn't want anything more to do with them.
No surprise, really. I mean, how many games did they have to plug Street Fighter in before enough is enough?

really its not just megaman that has been getting treated wrongly
the resident evil series isnt even survival horror anymore its a modern warfare clone
devil may cry 5 or reboot most people hate and the company dosent even show they care
darkstalkers hasent seen a new game in more years than megaman.
street fighter just keeps getting multiple versions an capcom even stated they are still going to be making more fighting games reguardless of how many they already made in the past 4 years

What me and my friends are hoping for is that a more loving company will get the rights to Megaman and get it back up on it's feet and do it justice, but one can only hope at this point.

Are they really or its because we did not have some access to information in the past. That we were not able to see all the other series that could apparently have appeared to be neglected by their companies over the years. I can think nearly half a dozen off the top my head.
Also everyone seem to be on 'Hate Capcom' buzz thus it real easy find reason to continue or blow things out proportion.

So Megaman should be like Mario then appearing at least two games every single year? Remember time where people were complaining that there were TOO MANY Megaman things come out. Now that they are apparently not it's a conspiracy against him.
You know THREE Megaman games did come out last year(Japanese Mobile Phone Games but still games) and its only been TWO years since Megman Zero Collection on the DS and Megaman 10 as downloadable came out. No I am not really pissed I do not get annual Megaman fix on consoles or handhelds like Mario or that the people of Capcom are human like me. Thus they make mistake, make promise they have to break, and a number of other things.

My main problem with CAPCOM is they either go CRAZY with a franchise and just spit out sequals or they kick it to the curb. It just seems like it's rarely anything in between. They don't have a right to be done with Mega Man yet. Either put final installments to MMClassic, MMX, MMZX, MMSF, and MML wrapping everything up or outsource the blue bomber to another company who actually cares.

I could just imagine Nintendo doing brilliant things with Mega Man. Heck, give them Ace Attorney while we're at it. CAPCOM's not releasing the newer AA titles over in America anyways.
