Ok In italy we usually call horse (cavallo) every stallion or gelding (for a mare we say "cavalla") but there is the translate of "gelding" too, that is "castrone". People who don't know horse world never use this word, so we say "horse" for beetween two categories and stallion (stallone) or gelding for a particular animal...
