This is my personal vision of the conflict between good and evil: the temptation of flames, and the loss of purity. I think the meaning of the image is quite clear: the flames represent temptation, and the girl is obscured by them; her dress turns gradually to black under the fire. Her blue eyes are wide, almost unconscious of her terrible mistake. The black tattoo on her back symbolizes the corruption.
