wrap me in a a jacket
white as the snow
asylum
for the hoodlum
the lunatic
that I am
yammering
yattering
always
a ham
I am just a
wee bit
madder than
than that
as they throw
away the key.

no more cookies
or crumpets or biscuits
for me or spotted dicks
for this wee tea timer
to sit down to snack
on and toff
as I scarf down
another wee
pill
to settle
nerves long frayed
gnawed astray

padded room
for this loon
