Poor Reflection.I am not a mirror
I do not reflect you.
I am a shadow cast from a star
over the world I walk.
Near and far.
I am not a pool still and calm
I am a sea rough with savagery
storm and life.
I am gentle, and fierce.
I am a predator stalking
prey for food, caught in
serene moments of life
before death like a lion
crossing the savannah.
I am a hunter seeking love, lost
in the chaos of human whim.
I am what my life has shaped
what my history has made.
I am not what others are,
nor do I wish to be.
I am only me.
I do not reflect.
Merely absorb or reject.
I wish no harm to anyone
but me, though I long an end to suffering
you see. In all who trod and walk and
breath.
I do not wish more pain.
I hope
I haunt
In vain.
I do not reflect.
I am transparent
a ghost
and soon
a fading
memory.
Do not look for reflection.
It is not to be.
Do not look for shadows.
Soon naught but light you see.
Singing from star to star
in voice incandescent.
Quasars, pulsars, the heartbeats
of singularities.
Soon.
Free.
Do not look any longer.
For I do not reflect.
I am, naught,
but what the world has made.
In the end.
with its fear, and pain, and misery.
and it is time.
I was free.
A book once I read, and childlike awe
it was revealed.
God's love is invisible you see.
Because daisy's are not yellow, they
refuse and deflect yellow, it is the color they
do not want to have within that you see.
They are everything but yellow.
And thus God, who rejects naught.
Is transparent to all, even thought.
I too do not reflect.
I am no color but a shade.
Refusing only more, hatred
hurt or pain.
So where I may seem as darkness.
It is what I am not. For only that
I despise and accept, and soon, I will stop
even that, for nor longer can I stand and fight.
Then all I'll be
is that brief spark of light
before fading invisible
to soar through that long last flight, and sing
the songs of stars.
Where creativity, ad dreams are born.
No more for me.
I do not reflect you.
For I have love you.
One and all.
And wish no hurt or harm
lasting
at all.
Maybe in the quiet, when all the universe gives way
to entropy and rebirth anew
we will know again, and I will show
that I do not reflect.
For to reflect.
Is to reject.
and I do not do that to you
so fondly adieu

Whatever we refuse or reject--is a reflection/image.
It is only what we accept we don't.

so actually we reflect/project on others what we don't like.
I mean, if we don't like certain traits on someone's personality, than that means that actually we don't like it cause it is a reflection of our own opressed personality's dark sides that we don't want to come out on the open at any price.
The opposite of that happens with expectations or when you are inlove - you project on others your brighter side which you expect to see mirrored...

No. What we see in others is what comes at us and we reject.
