Why?Do we dream of things unseen
of desires and wants and needs?
Why?
Do we live in a world of pain, shaped by hate
and fear, and prejudice. When we can dream
of better things.
Why?
Do we not make the world a wonder like the visions
in our minds, like the hope in our hearts. Share glory and beauty with one and all.
Why?
Do we set limits on what can be, if we reach out
to steady others before they fall. To hold their
hands and hug them tight, and let them know
they are loved just right.
Why?
Do we not do, what we should
What we can
What we must
to make the world
such a place of light?
