Description Woman.
You have walked in shadows
of flung stones.
Hold your head high.
You stand among giants
who paved a way for freedom.
Rest not though on their accomplishments
Step upon your own path, and be free.
There is no shame in faltering.
For treachery abounds.
Continue forward as you must
for yourself.
You have no weakness to fear
for you are honed, sharp
and edged. Glorious
you will make your way
and shine like a bird of fire.
I, boy, cannot walk that way.
I can merely celebrate your glory.
She sister, or she mother
He brother, or he father
cannot walk that way. They can
but cheer you on in your triumph,
wherever you may soar.
Soar free and high, on
your way to whatever wonders
you wish to find.
You!
Woman!
Have earned it.
