My cherished but neglected contestants for this year's OC Pageant over at TheOC-pageantOfDA ! I chose OCs who I love, but severely neglect by way of drawing. They are All available to be drawn in interactive rounds. Let me introduce you!

Prince Galen Summerwood (Story: Beyond Midnight)

Full name Prince Crawforde Galen Farraday Avington Pierre Maximillian Quinten Theodore Ignatius Julian Atticus James, and yes, he knows that it's More than a couple of mouthfuls. He hates being called Crawforde more than just about anything in the world.
Galen is sweet, romantic, adventurous, valiant and charming, and about the rowdiest, most energetic boy you'll ever meet. He meets all of the requirements of Charming Prince, but he finds himself struggling to live up to his title of Heir Presumptive to Queen Elenora and King Maximillian -- especially under the highly critical eye of his grandmother, the Queen Regent, who refused to entirely hand power over to her son, the King, when he took a peasant for his wife.
He knows that there's not much he can do at present to change the power struggle or remove himself from beneath his grandmother's thumb, so mostly he does his best to appease her, although he's long accepted that there is no pleasing or impressing her. He's doing his best, nevertheless, and working in his own way to be the best King possible should he ever find his head under the crown.

Cornelia (Story: [Yet Unnamed] Fairy Godparent School)

Cornelia is a Fairy; a resident of the Unreality between the realm of mortals (called the Overworld, by the fairies) and whatever realm lies adjacent. In this space between spaces (called the World of Dreams by mortals who know, or think they know, of it), Cornelia is attending her first year of schooling at the Font of Dreams, the school where qualifying fairies are trained to act as Magical Assistance to mortals in the Overworld.

Hardworking, sweet, and earnest, Cornelia has no trouble making friends at the academy -- even friends that other fairies may consider undesirable. She quickly becomes an advocate for the school's first ever transfer students, magical beings called Djenai, who have notoriously conflicted with mortals and fairies alike for centuries. Its hard work, attending to her school work, acting as an ambassador of goodwill to the djenai, keeping the peace between them and the fairies and dealing with the mysterious flareups of power which begun late into her first semester at school, but if there's anyone with the head to do it, it's Cornelia!

Kanaya (General Slice of Life/Scifi/Magical Girl OC)

Kanaya tends to stand out as a person. Alongside her lithe, 6’3” frame, her shocking icy yellow eyes and the blue-black hair that sweeps down almost to her knees, she carries herself with a confidence and power that tends to be a little overwhelming to people. Combined with her no-nonsense attitude and direct nature, these things make her a little more than intimidating to people, but those close to her know her as the coolest person around, with an outstanding sense of humor to boot.

She has never been one to worry much about what people outside of her circle think of her, and though never particularly outwardly affectionate, she cares deeply for the people in that circle. She expresses it through the things she does and is willing to do for them -- including bailing them out of the stickiest of situations even when she absolutely “told them so.” She has a bit of a hero complex in that respect, although that can mostly be attributed to the powers lent to her by the extraterrestrial half of her parentage, and her resulting “secret” identity as a magical girl. Her Father Dionne (Radian, on his home planet) is a Luminian, an alien race with inherent powers which are incredibly strengthened by the moon.

Kela'rhis (General Slice of Life Modern or Fantasy OC, Originally a Dragon Age OC)

If there isn't much to say about Kela'rhis, it's because he has nothing much to say about himself -- or at all, for that matter. His past is largely a mystery to anyone but a few people around him, but so are many things about him, such as his motives, his interests, and even, on a lot of occasions, his name.

What people can discern about him is that, even though he is almost eerily quiet at all times, he has no malicious intent; he is extremely introverted but extremely loyal, and perhaps even more aloof; he likes to work with his hands, and he enjoys practicing martial arts, typically with a staff. If he is seen out and about, its more often than not in the company of his companions Axel Wolffe and/or Kaibara Motokomo. Animals love him, even though he moves quietly enough to startle even bunnies and deer, and to keep his hands busy he often makes copious amounts of woven friendship bracelets -- which tend to be the only splash of color in his mostly grey wardrobe.

But perhaps most important of all: he hates wearing shoes.

He's a bit of an anomaly, but a crowd favorite among Kaibara and Axel's friends and acquaintances -- once they get used to him moving through the world like a ghost, that is.

Last Minute Addition!

Kaibara Motokomo (General, AU/Plot Catch-All, #1 Favorite and Very Coddled OC)

The best way to describe Kaibara Motokomo is: a personification of the slogans "Be Who You Wanna Be" and "You Can Be Anything" (-Barbie [tm]) She's the OC of mine that everybody tends to know -- and definitely the one I draw the most. With that in mind, she's mostly here for obligatory and sentimental reasons, and because she is in some way involved in 3 of the 4 storylines above. Because I want to draw the other OCs more, she will likely act more as an extra when needed.

She's a fashionista, an adventuress and hopelessly, a romantic. The most important thing in the world to her is family, and family goes much deeper than simple blood ties for her. She tends to be sweet, but she's definitely not one to take nonsense lightly. She lives for trying new things and having new experiences. She's probably the biggest crybaby you'll ever meet, she can find tears for any and all occasions (I suppose the briefest way to put it is: She's a Pisces).
