Edit 1/20/09 --And today he is now our president :3
Obama came to town, so I went to see.
At the end of his speech, he walked down where a few people were standing around his stage (where I was near). I got so close, I snapped this picture.
I could've reached out and shook his hand, but I opted to photograph him instead.
I'm really proud of this one. I was amazed that I could get so close.

Yes, you were very lucky to get so close to him. I'd rather take a picture as well, instead of a handshake. You can't "keep" a handshake, but you can always keep the photo. Beautiful shot

He has some awesome ideas, WAY better than either McCain or Obama

I mean it was fun to hear his speech, but it literally took two hours or more to get in (if you got there early enough), plus an hour or so of waiting to hear a 30/40 minute speech, hahahaha.

The one where he looks like Yoda is better. Everyone takes the same serious pictures of presidential hopefuls. If you had showed the funny side of him, it would have made it enjoyable, fresh even.
