From the Obama rally in Madison, WI yesterday. Nearly 20,000 people attended, a record number for the Kohl Center in which the rally was held.Take a good look, there's a strong chance you're looking at the next president of the United States.

OT: when you fine tune the exposure in people shots do you use some special technique or just go "visual?" I'm thinking about skin brightness.

that's determined by the mood i want in the photo and the contrast. Here, the b/w conversion is responsible for the skin tone, being a mostly red filter b/w conversion. After that I mostly just tweaked contrast until he was sufficiently defined.
I've got a set of Bill Clinton I shot today that I did at ISO 1250 You'll see more of it soon.
