  Slender glanced up at your choice of words and then leaned back in his chair. “Lj is currently… Interviewing… Her. She’s being held in the attic for the moment. I assume I don’t have to tell you where in the attic.” You nodded. “Yeah, I know where it is. I’ll take my leave now, should I tell the others about Adimar?” “Yes. Tell them to keep an eye out.” You excused yourself from the office and left. Thanatos was waiting outside the door for you. His grin widened. “Hey!”

  You mirrored his grin as he took his usual spot on your shoulder. “Where are the others?” Thanatos snorted. “In the game room. Though the clown is interrogating the girl.” You changed direction and headed towards the game room. When you entered you were met with a strange sight. It appeared that BEN was trying to teach Alois and the rest of them what a video game was. Alois looked completely baffled while Ciel just stared at it blankly. The two demons had smirks while they were watching the events unfold and Grell was nowhere to be found. As usual.

  You took a spot next to Sally on the couch. “Hi (y/n)! How’s your eye?” You shrugged indifferently. “It’s fine, I should regain my sight soon. Hopefully.” She grinned and turned her attention back to the ones on the floor. A weight suddenly threw itself onto the seat next to you and it dramatically waved its arms around. It appeared Grell had finally shown up.

  “Oh this world is so fascinating! All this… What was it called again? Technolologol? Whatever! It’s so cool!” He drawled out the O in ‘so’ as if to emphasize his point. You rolled your eyes. Well, eye. BEN seemed to have heard him and put on an offended face. “Excuse you! It’s technology!” Grell waved his hand lazily and slug his other one over your shoulder. “Yes yes, you knew what I meant. Anyways! Have you seen Bassy?” Your eyes flickered over to ‘Bassy’ and a smirked formed on your face when you saw his own pale one pale even further. “As a matter of fact, I have! He’s right over there!” You leaned over to Grell and whispered so no one else could hear, “And he told me that he missed you~”

  Grell squealed loudly before bolting up and into the not so willing arms of Sebastian. You snickered before remembering why you came in here. “Oh yeah, Adimar is back guys.” When you said that all the Pastas froze. Jeff turned his head towards you, his brows furrowed. “I thought that he…” You interrupted him. “Yeah, my pack άλφα told me. She says that someone from their time,” You gazed pointedly at Alois and the others, “Is partnered with him. And they’re supposedly really powerful.”

  BEN grimaced. “Does Slender know?” You nodded. “Yeah, he was the one who told me to tell you guys. We’ll need to keep an eye out for anything strange and be on guard in case anything happens.” The others nodded. Claude cleared his throat, earning the attention of them, “Who is Adimar?” All eyes turned towards you. You huffed, not happy that they had all silently nominated you as story teller.

  “Adimar is… an old enemy of ours. He’s tried to kill us all and nearly blew up the entire state while doing so. He’s enslaved hundreds of my kind and many humans and other species to get what he wants, and he’s not below murder and torture. Overall, he’s a bad wolf and our history with him isn’t the greatest…”

  Claude nodded thoughtfully before stepping back. The atmosphere was tense and thick. You grimaced and stood up. “Well this was an interesting conversation, but I think that I’ll be taking my leave now. I’m gonna go check up on Lj.” You left the room before anything else could happen and made your way to the stairs.

  A few more flights and you were at the door to the attic where Ej was. It seemed he knew you’d come check up on them and waited for you. A smile graced his lips though you couldn’t see it. “I’m assuming you wanted to see them?” You snickered. “You know me so well~!” He rolled his eyes. “I need to check on them to, can’t have Lj kill our source of information.”

  He opened the door and stepped inside, you following close behind and shutting and locking it again. The attic was dark, illuminated by a few lights but not enough to see. Though, you could. Various torture instruments littered the room, all stained with blood though you could see a few that were clean as if they were new. You knew whose those were.

  You made your way down the hallway behind Jack and up ahead faint screams could be heard. Thanatos shifted on your shoulder before leaping off and melting into the shadows, though you could sense his presence next to you. Multiple doors led off the hallway and spiraled into darkness. Each door had a letter and a number inscribed on it, and each door had a different pattern etched into it.

  You reached the end of the hallway where a small rickety staircase that led upwards was. It creaked under the weight of you two, and shook violently. However, you knew it would hold. An old spell held it together, and the spell had yet to fade. It was replenished every 3 years. The end of the staircase led to another small hallway, though this one was even shorter than the one below and had no doors. It led into an open room where the screams were now loud and hurt your sensitive ears.

You stepped into the room, and there was Lj and the girl.
