A friend from Animefest asked for one, so I finally finished. I humbly offer my bishounen tutorial. There are a TON of great resources for actual anatomy in addition to just practice and observation. While searching for a reference to double check the face proportions (they're rough, I know, I didn't want to check through my anatomy notes to double check), I found a great submission: [link] by that is a really great reference for realistic faces.Otherwise, I hope this is helpful to people . . . this is my first time doing one.

The first time I draw is bishounen (or bishes for short). So, this is really helpful to improve my bishies character design.

Thank you! Seriously this is the best tutorial I've found! It's so hard to find good advice on how to draw males and I love how you went step by step through the face and hard parts of drawing a person so thank you very much ^.^

Lol, man, me too. I did that because someone asked for some pointers at a con one year. And when I look back on it now . . . I draw bodies slightly different now. It's crazy how much styles change even if it's even subtle changes.
