TO those who wander here without knowing, Lea=my interpretation of Axel's somebody. He has a backstory in my head, but I'm not going into it here.Yet another stylistic change for Lea....I think Lea is really my excuse to try drawing in different ways without ruining Axel by experimenting on him. I have a hard time experimenting with the characters I love, I find one way of doing them and I just stick with it rather than risk becoming worse. I use Lea to try new things while still enjoying what I'm drawing.
This one is based on an even earlier sketch....I wanted to find that particular sketch and upload it...but I couldn't find it, so I went with this one. Oh well. I think I need to clean out my drawers.

I can draw stuff other than chibis, but I prefer my normal chibi-style. It's just easier when doing a comic to make chibis, they have cuter reactions.
And hair is fun to just go wild with sometimes, it was really fun to draw. Many thanks!

I'm one of those horrible fangirls who rarely draws a serious picture in which a character actually smiles....I'm more of an ~Angst Assault!~ kind of fangirl. I do bad things to good characters without remorse. Muwahaha.
As for clothes and hair.....well, I like to draw poofy hair, and I've been reading/looking through fashion mags at work to try and improve on that kind of thing. It's hard.....fashion mags hurt my soul. lol

lol tis okay....in all honesty, I'm kinda O_O about the hair. Have you noticed I pretty much never draw Axel from a front perspective?...it's the hair, I can't make it look right when looking straight at him. I used Lea to experiment trying to make poofy hair look good from this view. If it were an original character not based off anyone, I'd think it was fairly cool, but I do agree, not quite Axelly enough.

Aw thanks so much! Honestly, the first Lea was coloured and ready to been seen for over a month, but I thought, "Naw, who'd actually care to see just the Somebody I came up with, that's just dumb." so I never posted for awhile. I worked really hard with the shading though so I finally went 'screw it!' and posted him. Thanks so much for actually liking him! (he's flattered.)
