I am keeping an eye on the poll I put up dont worry lol. It's obvious this reference sheet has been needed for ages considering how long Abraxus has been floating around my page. So here he is, the angriest librarian novelist you'll ever meet in Nightmare.

Notable Relationships: Kairos - somewhat close friends, TWiLiGHT - former best friend and romantic partner

Bio: Abraxus is part of the small community of darkness-weilding Shadow Maren and doesn't work well with others. Because he's so against working a day in his life, he pretty much just spends his time helping out in Nightmare's massive library. And by helping out it's mostly either reading things or writing his own novels. He's usually a rare sight around Nightmare because he dodges people like the plague. This is only enhanced by the fact he suffers from disorders like OCD and extreme social phobia and haphephobia (fear of contact). So not only does he avoid people in general, he also has a bad tendency to perform various tasks around his own home like rituals. This was brought on by the fact years ago, after a horrible fight with TWiLIGHT that angered Wizeman so much, he placed TWiLiGHT into a deep sleep like many of the other rejected Nightmaren, and placed shadow powers onto Abraxus (like he did with Kairos). Not only that, he caused a degenerative illness within his eyes which slowly gets worse as years go by, which will eventually leave him blind. His glasses are specially enhaced for his Nightmaren sight, but theyre pretty embarrassing to him. To have to resort to a human inspired solution, y'now. Ever since then he lost his faith in people, and became completely sociopathic. And if he wasn't so unique in his abilities, Wizeman probably would have just destroyed him years ago.

Personality: Abraxus is a Nightmaren who currently keeps to himself around 98% of the time. He will often barricade himself in his room or seclude himself from public like an antisocial teenager. He's extremely solitary and will go out of his way to avoid people, again, like an antisocial teenager lol. He is downright the most aggro, passive agressive and sociopathic bastard on the market, and he isn't afraid to make that apparent to people. He will refuse to cooperate with people if he doesnt see the point in it, even Wizeman, which lands him in a lot of seriously harsh punishments, though usually he's so apathetic towards it he simply doesnt care. Not to say he can't be persuaded to do thing with the right compensation, he can do jobs well if he wishes to, and if not he'll completely half ass it. To add to his sociopathic lifestyle he also has an extremely addictive personality, so he does stuff like drink a lot in his own solitude. When he was younger he was so quiet and shy, and had trouble talking to people until TWiLiGHT helped him work on his self confidence, so he went from not talking to people out of nervousness to not talking to people out of pure hatred.

Additional Notes: He used to have long, wavy hair (surprise surprise lol), but he cut it off after Wizeman's punishment because the tips turned black. Unfortunately after they were cut, the new tips faded black too.

- The little braid thing with the beads was something TWiLiGHT weaved into his hair when it was longer, and he never had the heart to cut it off despite the fact he was so heartbroken and angered by TWiLiGHT.

- The back of his coattail vest is black, but theres a large red hourglass shape on it, like what Black Widow spiders have.

- His shadow markings form a web-like design, which i'll eventually upload a picture of later.

- His eyes used to be green, but after his reconditioning and becoming a shadow they turned bright yellow.

- His room is FULL of books. the walls are lined with his own collection of written novels and there are piles of them around the place too, it's like someone dropped a bomb filled with books in his space. It's the only thing he's lenient on with mess and disorganization, sometimes. Other than that his room is very clean, and even super sterile. His room faintly smells like a hospital because it's so clean.

On an unrelated note, for my versions of Shadow Nightmaren I've always imagined them being based off certain animals, mythology or normal. So becase Abraxus is modelled after a black widow spider, his shadow powers present themselves in a web-like fashion, which can ensare visitors or enemies and drag them into horrible nightmares. He does especially well with nightmares based on people's phobias, especially things like Arachnophobia.

I'm still very unsure of his colour scheme, it may change here and there while I figure out what works for him >.<' I also haven't decided on a suiting voice actor for him, so if any of you guys have any ideas totally throw them my way! I always imagined him having a heavy Detroit sort of accent... oddly enough lol.
