Been working on this for a while but I've been pretty busy so I just now finished it.Well, "finished" is a loose term. I may look at this in the morning and be horrified that I posted it prematurely!
This is a scene from the unaired pilot of Sherlock.

I love the fact that this is more John Watson and Sherlock Holmes than MF and BC. I love their faces and the performance they gave for Sherlock, but they're only JW and SH when they act. Still shots always make me think of the actors, not the characters.
The point of the ramble being, I think you captured John and Sherlock's essence in the modern age quite nicely. I want to hug and squish them. <3

I kinda forced myself to pay attention to the detail in the background. I remember Heilmer getting after students for forgetting the background. I can just image him creepin' up behind me and his finger pointing at the background and saying something barely audible but negative about it. ..lol
Got lazy about the details in the end but ya know.

lol cool. i was wondering because i'm thinking about purchasing a tablet and i was wondering what kind is the best to use and whatnot, but right now i'm thinking about getting a bamboo pen

yea, a bamboo is good. I don't know how I got by without my drawing tablet before! I'd recommend the bamboo/wacom drawing tablet.
Not too sure what other ones are on the market. But I've heard good things about the bamboo/wacom ones from other artists.
