Background: Stephanie Smith was a country girl at the beginning of her life, once she left home she left to the city with her best friends in hopes to go to school and become a teacher for children. She is a hard worker at her current waitressing job with a heart of gold. She tends to be over emotional when it comes to things only because of her empathic abilities. She accidentally fell in love with Silver the Hedgehog while protecting a child from Eggman attacking the city one day and ever since then she's been involved in his crazy schemes one way or another.

Some head cannons for this AU
- Stephanie has a slight southern accent, since she's moved the city she had to hide it due to how annoyed she got when people pointed it out/made fun of her for it. It only shows when she's either really excited or mad.
- Stephanie has a huge crush on Silver and lowkey wishes he'd just ask her to be his girlfriend during Origins
- Stephanie is the youngest out of all her siblings, and all her older siblings are all boys.
- Her parents were strawberry farmers after they had both retired from their jobs
- She's considered really innocent and naïve by most of her friends, only because of how she holds herself in conversation
- If she was to practice enough with her abilities, she could change people's moods entirely if she tried hard enough, but she says it's too much to handle when her head starts to pound
- She finds Sonic cute but she knows to never say a word about it to her best friend, who is madly in love with the blue hero.
- Shadow sees a lot of Maria in Stephanie, which is why he most likely is so nice to her, despite how easily irritated he gets with everyone else.
