Aiden stood, “And what?” he asked, “You asked him to fetch me.?”

Petra leaned back , face burning as she tucked some loose hair aside, “I told him it was a bummer you weren’t here because I could really use someone to talk to.”

The male blinked, “Are you….joking…..?”

“I don’t know man, I just told him I wished you were here, and then he took off!”

Aiden seemed to relent to this - after all they had dealt with weirder things. “Huh.... Alright, just….” he gave Petra one of those little meek (and somewhat cute) smiles of his, “Just try not to ask him too often okay? It’s a long ride when you’re in the mouth of a poisonous snake.”

Petra laughed, “Deal.”
