An early WIP of my new "Skullfrog" costume & armorThis is my basic "Sever" torso, stripped down so I can edit and add new pieces. This character will be a thief/assassin combo: so lots of knives, pockets and accessories
Really all I have left are some knife cases, frogs, bracers and maybe some boot guards
*critiques are welcome and appreciated guys. I'm still new at this costume stuff

Nicely done, definitely has the thief assassin feel to it. What leather thickness did you use on the pieces?

Leaning towards a spartan style armor set, with a western steampunk style. Main thing I need to find first is a maniquin torso or something similiar so I can mold the chest muscles into the torso piece.

Yes. I have a few plastic ones but they're only the front half of the torso. And a fabric covered one to do main fittings, but it doesn't have much besides pecs.
Design sounds cool, I'd wanted to do a western gunslinger witch hunter with a Crow theme

Like the sounds of the witch hunter, if you can definitely consider having a black bladed athame with it; they're quite effective

This is a work of art. Amazing, amazing. What is the concept of the kind of character who would wear this? I kind of see some witch hunter or inquisitor in it. Also what are frogs?

Conceptually, I was going for an Assassin/Thief character with a bit of rogue and playfulness for fun. It still needs the cape, weapons and bobbles but this is the bulk of him. "Skullfrog" comes from the skull theme of the mask and I go by Frog myself, so the name just worked out

I like how this set has come together and I like the name"Skull frog". Has a lot of potiential as a unique OC. Jealous of your tippman boss. lol

Thanks Carl, I'm likin this variant more than the berserker one I did last year. But it's all about versatility for me, I can keep these 2 (and others) with me to change out as needed.
And Skullfrog is a mixture of my logo and nickname. Has a perfect ring as a thief and killer too

I've been working on some drow armor and I have been doing a lot of hand sewing so my fingers are plenty sore. lol. It would be great to find a deal on a tippman boss.

Thanks, this whole suit is made to come apart and trade out for new looks. All snaps and hidden buckles
