Hahahaha! Oh the talking crab! They actually make that sound ya know - okay, maybe not with quite so much intonation - but they rub on their shells to make this 'squalking' noise

*o* Wow. This is a great example of awesome animation. I really adore artists who can master traditional animation quite well! This is FABULOUS! The crabs are so so so so so cute (I just wanna hug them!) and I liked it when the girl was shy when she was trying to communicate with the crabs. This reminds me a bit of the Little Mermaid for some reason, but I love it! It's one of my favourite movies after all. X3 This must have taken a long time to complete! I'd love to do something like this one day (I hope I succeed!), and you prove to us that anyone can do great animation such at this! I really am inspired ... I love seeing others' works and how they do on stuff like this. Are you becoming an animator when you're done college/university? ^-^ Anyway, this was amazing, and I enjoyed watching it! One of the best animated films I've seen on DA yet! Keep up the fantastic work. *faves* By the way, congrats on the feature! You definitely deserve it. Tee hee!

OMG This comment just makes me want to cry.... the nice things you say just blow my mind! I mean... I just really don't have the words. It just makes me feel, for as much as I can get caught up comparing myself to others, or to my high expectations at times... there are still people like you who enjoy my works - for whom my hard work IS good enough... I just cannot say how much that means to me... and to take the time to leave such lengthy comments on my film AND journal....

OMG I know - doesn't time fly by?

Well... I will say the Sheridan Animation Bachelor's program is still fairly young... I was only the 2nd graduating class of it And I think it's getting even better and better as the years go on - this is a GREAT time to apply!!

Sheridan is one of the top Animation schools in the North West - I'm not the best example, but I have friends and peers who are working for companys as big as Pixar RIGHT after school!!

I would suggest when you apply, apply to the 1 year Art Fundamentals course as well. You don't need a portfolio for that, and it REALLY boosts your skill! I didn't get accepted the first time I applied. But by going to Art Fundies, I was able to get INTO the school and learn from other already animation students! (one tutored me!! Such a great advantage)

If you have any questions, note me! I gave tours at this school too, so I can get you some contacts to get information if you need!
