Description
I know what you're all thinking! She's made another stinking orb! Well this is a special orb haha. Some say that it was created by a mad man. Others believe it is a trap sent from hell. All that is known for sure about it is indestructible as tested by a nuclear device.

My Metroid fanboyism is screaming "Omega cannon, Omega cannon!" but I think this is beyond my silly fan-ish-ness. You know that, this would be awsome for a custom bowling ball! And is it just me or is there something inside the orange sphere?

I used tori (torus) and a sphere. I used boolean operations so you cant tell that I used them.

Using boolean operations. Basically objects can cut lines out of each other.

thanks for tutorial. is there a way to color the individual parts?

Yes there is. You can click on the object then click the arrow to the right of edit and choose materials from there. To select multiple items shift+click at the same time. And you can use ctrl+click to select from a group of objects if they are hard to click on. Just click near the object you want to select. Hope this helps!

do i do this before or after i group them?

I would do it after you group them. It's easier to choose your final outcome.

Try shift clicking on a shape. Or at the bottom right of the screen there will be a bunch of buttons. If you click the torus shape it will select all of the tori. Same with spheres.
