Description Photo reference most definitely used...these are really neat animals, inspired by the thread over at lilymud .

I sketched this in the morning (see: scraps) and randomly felt like coloring it...not sure if I'll add a background at some point and change the colors, but, I didn't want to let this image "go". So, this is a work in progress...heh, maybe, I 'spose it all depends on if I'll have the time to do anything more with it!

Absolutely gorgeous colouring!
I'm so sorry I haven't been able to comment on your new artwork - life's been so busy with university that I'm finding it impossible to do so.
I love bat-eared foxes - my fursona has bat-eared foxes' ears. They're just the most beautiful and adorable animals and your drawing is so exact and perfect, its a pose I can imagine them taking!

Aw, thanks ! There is no need to apologize, my goodness...you should never feel obligated to comment, and I hear ya on being busy. That's so neat that you were able to incorporate the ears into your fursona; I agree, they are tons of fun to draw (might have to doodle more in the future)!

Aw, you're too kind . Thanks for all the comments *hugs*! To be honest, I don't feel that I have enough of a handle on my artwork to make a tutorial...basically all my coloring amounts to is using the airbrush and 'just add water' tool in painter and smushing stuff around . (if that's what 'tut' is short for...if I'm off the mark, I apologize...my mind isn't always here )
