I thought that the brightness of the flames in her hand might obscure the details & shading on her hand, similiar to the effect of headlights on an oncoming car. But...you could be right.
I've got more pictures in mind, and yes some of them are Fire Nation. Trouble is I don't know what I'm going to draw until I actually start. I had every intention of drawing a picture of Katara, when oops it turned into Azula.

Haha! That's fun, not knowing what to draw until you actually start! It must certainly be an interesting time. Hmm, that line looks like Azula's bangs, and that one looks like Ty Lee's wristband!
