Description
In anticipation to the start of the new season of Heroes, here's a drawing of Sylar! I started a peter (milo ventimiglia) a long time ago, but it was with my old digital portrait method which is really bad... I might do one another time
Anyways, this was 'supposed' to be a quick painting, but I got carried with the detail and realism of his skin. I finished it in maybe an hour+ yesterday but was too tired to finish the clothing. I finished that in 20 min just now
I find I love doing portraits digitally because I really hate doing lineart digitally and portraits don't require one

It' sucks that Heroes isn't on anymore, but Sylar was my favorite character.

haha. yea lineart on the computer is a pain sometimes.
I use photoshop for all my cg work (unless it's vectors, then I use illustrator). I start with a sketch of course, then copy the layer so that I have a reference for later. I hide the second sketch, make a layer under the original sketch and partially fill it with a colour, then merge it and clean the pic.
