Sebastian Michaelis. Gah, what is there to say really? I am really proud of how this one came out. Despite the fact it's a quarter of the size of the giant Ciel, it's to date the most challenging piece I've tackled. The shading is very detailed.
This is also the last piece I completed before my husband suddenly passed away and thus has some very special meaning to me.
It's a little over 2' square and uses 6 different colors. It was crocheted with an F hook and took just shy of a month to complete. This is also the first piece to have border that was not black. I think the red on the edge helps the red in the eyes pop. Once again as with most of my projects, the eyes were my favorite part.

I already thought they would take a long long time, especially the big ones. You could compare them to the soles I make every year, even though they have no color changes and a very simple pattern. ^^

I do know what that is! That makes WAY more sense now! I knit also and have done bunches of other stuff. I've only put my portraits on DA though. A friend suggested I start posting some of the other stuff as well.

I also knit, or better said, I used to knit but I only made scarfs. A lot of scarfs.

I don't make much in the way of scarves simply because I live in the south and it's hot all the time!

Oh I wish I would live somewhere warm and cozy too. We often have it cold here, but we also can have hot summers. But I love constant warmth.

I have to admit, I like winter too, lot's of snow and icy cold but I can't stand that mild/cold rainy weather in between. *shiver*
