I was listening to "I can walk on water, i can fly" by Basshunter and i loved it -3- while i was listening to it, i kinda fits Zook cuz he's kinda timid and afraid to fight. If you have noticed, the light is green rather than blue, why? well the reason is that the blue light means he is in his Normal Mode, if it turns green, it means Zook is in Fly Mode. The bird monster he's fighting against are Dark Soarers (there's 10 there but you can only see 5 here though
) and they're fighting over an ocean/sea. oh yeah, Zook is attacking and defending himself here at the same time.Video: [link]

Dang it, now I feel depressed that I made such a lame picture based on this song. I'll have to remake it, someday.
Anyway, this is good! The colors blend and contrast at the same time, the lines are smooth, and the shading is realistic.
However, I suggest something else other than energy color to imply that Zook is in 'flight mode', like making his scarf resemble wings or something.
(Fave thing; Zook's eyes. They're pretty!)

maybe you should start making your line thickness less (i mean i use it at 3px sometimes 2xp ).
