(This news is a few weeks late. x3)Well, here he is! This is our very first look at my Inflatable Balto toy!
This is the first full color prototype made by the factory, fresh off the presses. Some things will be changed, such as the sharp points on the tips of his ears, but this is largely what he will look like.Here are some additional angles:

Tech Specs:
About five feet long, with tail
Single air chamber
One #3 (large) air valve on right butt cheek (heehee)
Fully lapped (flat) seams, for durability and appearance
We are expecting delivery in late July or August. Stay tuned! :3

Hey silverwolf, nice to hear about balto again! U can't believe that I haven't stumbled with this post before! I am willing to get my hands on beautiful balto, I have been saving since I saw the design up, indeed the idea of a balto like this has been in my mind since I first saw the movie back in 2002 when I was 7! Plz tell me, if you can, how many of this beauties will hit eBay just to have an idea of how the auction is going to catapult

How did you get the opportunity to design AND create this? I was starting to think I'd have to hot-seal a bunch of cutouts from beach balls and inner-tubes together to make anything close to this! xDDD

Oh yes, I saw your design illustrations shortly after you had posted them (feels like forever ago!)
What's the name of the company that's doing this for you and how did you find them? Have you ordered a set amount to be created or will they keep the design for future production should the demand go up? (I'm in the printing biz but I'm used to big snack-food and frozen food companies ordering thousands of bags at a time -- That would be a lot of Baltos! lol -- but they can also ask for reprints once they run out from their previous order.)

How it usually works is a preorder period is opened and runs for a set time. (usually 1-2 months) A required minimum number of orders must be met to greenlight the inflatable toy; this number depends on the size and cost of the toy itself. (Our order minimum was 20 units; we reached over 50!) Once the minimum order number is reached, the toys can all be paid for without overage, and an order deadline is set. Once the deadline passes, orders are closed and the money is sent to the manufacturer, who then builds and ships out the inflatables. :3 The company I went through for distribution is called G&G Inflatables...however, I have formulated my own company called 'The Toy Train', and will be doing all further ideas through myself! I'll be working with Jet Creations Inc. for the manufacturing.

Yes, exactly! It's a good idea to create a design that's appealing to a wide range of people, so you can get more orders. Though, if your fursona is generic enough (or attractive enough, LOL) to garner a lot of interest, that could work, too.

Looks great! And the size is good. Won't take up too much space, but still good for a snuggle. Is the valve on the but a #3? It looks huge compared to the size of the toy! But it makes sense with it being all one chamber.

Yes, the valve is a #3, and I signed off on that at the last minute, after realizing that a #2 would negate my original goal of fast inflation and deflation times for travel. And yes, Balto will be the perfect size for cuddling in bed! <3

Yeah I like the fact that all the chambers on Carwyn are #3 valves. They are a hell of a lot faster than #2. Maxwell has #2s on the legs and a #3 on the body.
