Description
This is a still capture from an animation I made that depicted an office that showcased some artwork from other students in my 3D art class. One of my better scenes, even though it was created as a movie.Related content

Thanks! I'm actually in the process of redoing the animation portion of this room, and I fixed up the reflections a bit to be more realistic as well. I'll probably update this one when I'm finished

When I saw the thumbnail I actually thought that this was your desk. Very nice.

Ah, thanks!
I spent a long time on this animation. Longer than I should have

You just earned yourself an ODD! congrats! An ODD (Oibyrds Daily Devs) is a little extra spotlight I shine on deviations that I think are really impressive and/or they're not getting the attention they deserve. Please see the link below for all details and do keep in mind that if you prefer not to be a feature, just shoot me a note and I'll remove you from the list
Happy holidays!

Oh snap Mohammed Von D-Zilla! I like it. I know absolutely nothing about 3-D rendering and Bob Lablah but it looks pretty good to me. Go team!

Cool start. As mentioned, the lack of supersampling on the reflective material doesn't look too nice.. and I think the reflections are a bit strong overall. Also you should smoothen out that mouse pad
Keep at it!

Pretty nice render.
If you don't mind a few negative comments, I think the reflections lack some anti-aliasing; the book could have been better, eg by having pages attached to the whole side, but then again I haven't seen many satisfying book models; and the keys would look better if they were less flat and with smaller letters.
Of course, some of these points (eg the aliasing) can be explained by it being part of a movie. And despite these points, it's all in all a good picture IMHO.
