Description
This is the second version of Midna's armor, a project I'm working on with I looked more at Zant's and other Twili outfits as I was drawing this one, so it's a bit different than the first picture. Her fighting style is based on the Chinese sword style Baguazhang, so her armor has to be light and flexible. She has her head gear (the "X" spikes are reference to her headgear at the end of the game) and shoulder/chest armor (there are rubies in the armor, but I forgot to draw them in). She has a thick black leather piece around her torso and a traditional thick black cloth tunic with teal Twili embroidery. I looked at Zant's outfit for some reference. I'm not too sure how functional the red danglies on her sleeves are, but they look kinda exotic. Under that is a black silk tunic that has a dark red pattern.
This is obviously a very rough draft - the details in the armor and cloth will be done at a later date. And yes, her right hand is missing.
EDIT: The outfit was modified slightly

Looks cool! I like that you added a bit of dark red to the outfit; I hadn't thought of that. I can see the influences from Zant's outfit and also her own clothes, so this looks pretty much like a suit of armor Midna would make, I think.
Now, I do have a couple changes I'd like to suggest; one, I like the design of the helmet, but I think if you made the shape more curved instead of angled, it would look better, more reminiscent of the hood of her normal clothes. Same general shape, but with more curves instead of straight lines.
Two, I think maybe you could add a few more armor plates. Maybe just something over the abdomen, keeping the shape you have there, but maybe replace a few of those strips with armor plates. It's hard to describe, but if you look up the design of Elvish armor from the 'Lord of the Rings' movies, specifically the chest armor, that's kind of what I'm talking about. I'll try to come up with a better reference and send you a link or two later. It may be a couple of days, though; I can't get online every day right now.
But overall, I really like this. The final picture is going to be really amazing, I think, if this is the direction you're going with it. Great job!

Hokay doke, I made some edits. Rather than create a whole new deviation, I just updated the current file.
I don't think the head on shot of her helmet looks quite accurate (the side view is correct), but it's close enough for right now.
I hope you're having fun on your vacation. Cheers!

Hey, the new version looks really cool. I'm happy with it, except, what happened to the X-spikes on the top of the helmet?

Haha. Oops. I guess I forgot to put those back in. Other than that, do you want to call it good?
