Quirks: Full of herself, loves to take center stage and tends to exaggerate a lot. Due to her being crepuscular and napping a lot during the day, some might think she is lazy.

MAGIC

Catnip isn't very into magic and only learns what she needs to be a good hunter. This leads to her being sloppy with most parts of the magic she knows, but extremly good in the few ways she uses it. She used to be very good in detecting water, but since she knows the lands she hunts on very well, she doesn't use it much anymore. She uses earth magic to sense vibrations caused by or heartbeats of prey and while she can barely lift a rock, her sensing covers quite an area. Her favourite basic magic is definitly wind magic, as she uses it to enhance her hearing, to increase her speed and to manipulate sound while hunting. Oh, and manipulating sound also helps to put young wynglings in awe as she boasts around.
The only intermediate magic she even bothered to try was ice magic, as she figured it would be helpful to freeze the meat of her prey she wanted to sell.

RELATIONSHIPS

Friends: [Kalypso] : Even though Kalypso is more concerned with her pets, Catnip likes her and consideres her a friend. Many think of hunters only as killers, but Catnip's job is also to maintain the balance of wildlife. She likes animals and tends to hang out with Kalypso and those cute little thingies around. She may be sometimes annoyed by all the talking, yet she enjoyes the company of someone at her own age, who has a great understanding of animals. Catnip also likes to play with the Runeboos.

Crush: [Azoth] : She has the hugest teenage-crush possible, even with her being adult and all, when it's about Azoth she transformes in to a bubbly nervous teenage-fangirl wreck. He is so mysterious and well mannered, so charming and perfect, she could daydream about him all day. If talked to her about him, she would romanticize with no end. Talk bad about him and you have made a new enemy. No meat for you, buddy! She would probably even defend his intentions if he actually DID something evil, because, he is so perfect, he CAN'T be evil, right? But a relationship with him is nothing but a dream, since she can't get a word out of her mouth and flees the scene, when she should acutally meet him. Plus he deserves so much better, not just a feral Wyngro who never grew out of her babyspot. He is way out of her league and most likely doesn't know about her feelings for him at all.
Rolemodel: [Gulch] : She respects him for being hardworking and being true to himself. Even though she's not really interessted in his work, Catnip tries to adopt his work ethic as her own.
Frenemy: [Lumberjack NPC]: As both work in the woods and with nature, they have to work together sometimes and actually get along with each other for the most of the time. But often enough their opinions just clashes and they get each other in the way. Nobody can get Catnip faster upset than [Lumberjack NPC].
Enemy/Rival: [Gilligan] : Oh, she HATES him! This weird, stupid old man, always talking about stupid fish! Who wants to eat fish anyways? Her meat is soo much better. She doesn't really have hard feelings towards him, but she doesn't like him, hates fish and he is a rival on the food market.

PAST

Hatched in the Nook Catnip grew up with many other wynglings. She was shy and didn't really know how to fit in, thus she stayed for herself. She loved trips to the woods and started to wander without supervision, feeling brave and actually able to do something on her own. She did so even with the scary big monster in the woods she encountered a few times. Every time she saw it, she totally freaked out and would run home to the Nook-Mommy, not leaving the Nook for a whole week. Later she realized the 'Monster' was just an old Wyngro with horns and scars and spikes. It was the local hunter and even though he looked scary, she started to track him down and watched him from her hiding spots. But being a veteran hunter, he always noticed her. After a while he began to tell her about the forest, the animals and the importance of hunting, not only to get meat or fur, but also to maintain the balance of the populations and to keep the fauna healthy. She was very interested and as soon as she was old enough, the old hunter took her in as apprentice. She finally found her place and with learning under her mentor she got over her insecurities - mostly. But he was old and soon no longer able to hunt. He still taught her a lot and shared his wisdom, but she became the active hunter. Some years later he eventually died and she mourned the loss, yet he had made sure the young huntress understood the meaning of life and death. Ever since she did her best to fullfill her duty, using her upgrades in her favour. During her time as huntress she got on good terms with some animal farmers, because after all she is among other things holding predators at bay.

PERSONALITY

Being a child at heart Catnip has an easy-going attitude, and having a fullfilling job she is now pretty confident. She knows what she is capable of and likes good challenges, she also likes being adored. She is a huntress through and through, it seems everything about her is to aid her in hunting: Good nightsight, strength, claws, teeth, the magic she uses... Even her grabby tail is perfect for carrying prey. She loves hunting, she loves stalking, but she also loves animals and the wildlife as whole. She is pretty happy with herself, except for her babyspot. She got used to it, but she's not to happy that she never outgrew it. She still hopes for it to vanish one day. She may boast and exaggerate, but she never means harm. Since she's up late into the night and starts her working day very early, she loves to take naps under the warm sun. She is kind of feral, she dislikes most clothings and only wears her coat when it gets to chilly. She hates fish and big cities, but she doesn't mind children or pets. She loves to tell stories to Wynglings, especially stories starring herself in her super-cool adventures while hunting and fighting. As already said, she exaggerates. A lot.
