Concept Design for CherryTrabbit

Character: Valeska

Inspiration: Blue Stirling Bird

Color wishes: Blue with purple involved

I tried to create an elegant design with the birds inspiration while not getting to close to Tengas colors/design.

Yellowish colors for elegant pseudo-gold on claws, imp armor, feathered wing webbing and feather butt to go with the eyes and jewellery.

Big feathered wings with similar colors like the blue stirling bird, also for an elegant bird shape.

Quill tail with jewellery to get an more interesting shape, both gold and purple to balance the colors better and to make the end of the tail an ornament itself. I could imagine the dorsal side of the tail having dark blue feathers on the top.

Ori legs with both gold and shell color both for color balance and indicate similar hard substance like the shell. Also added rear toes for ultimate birdy legs.

Darkest blue around the eyes, shoulders and on the noble neck fluff again inspired by the coloring of the blue stirling bird. The dark blue placement on the shoulders and the noble neck fluff imitate elegant clothing, as it is difficult to actually add clothing to quills.

I kept the hair similar to the original design, just changed the hairstyle to show of the gradient hair better, to increase the elegance of the overall shape of the body and to balance the gold with the hairdo. Also lighter purple around the face to have a better contrast between the hair and the dark parts of the face.

I kept the stripes and pinstripes and added spots for ultimate elegance~

Woodland ears as natural follow up to the naked ears, again very elegant with a nice gradient and also because of the nice hair tufts who get turned into feather tufts on the ear tips because of quill! I just couldn't pass on this opportunity.

Since the original design had asymmetric arm placements I made an alternative design to include this.
