After the exercise fight against Revan at the dojo Kenas wound hurt more than before. It probably teared open a bit and started to bleed again. She had to be more careful, but being wounded was still better than being dead or having this unknown illness the town was cursed with - not that it was a difference, the illness was deadly. When she had removed the padded armor those spots were a surprise. Sure, they had been there before, but they had been very faint, she had believed they were dirt or bruises from the deelagun. But now they had become bigger and darker... and were way to even. B-but maybe that was just coincidence. Still fear lingered in her mind as she concentrated on the bandages. She had to replace them, put some herbs on the wound... She froze in her movement. A bit of blood was on the bandages, in the middle almost black - she would have believed that it was just dried blood, if it wasn't for the blackness that poured out of under it. It was her blood - but it looked like the blood of a spite. She couldn't deny it any longer. Those were the symptoms... She had the plague. She was cursed by the deelagun. She was going to die.

Poor girl does some caring for herself and has to realize that she has the same illness as many others. And she had heard of and seen too many wynglings and gros that dies of the plague to be immune against the fear.
