"Class Change"LOL I suck at backgrounds.
Heh, this was going to be my entry for the Halloween contest, but my lazyness has really hindered me a lot this time. LOL this is the second Halloween contest that I missed, except this time I actually was able to take part but i blew it.
Good Luck to all the entrants!
Roy and Lilina decided to swap classes one day just to feel what it would feel like. So Lilina prepared the spell and explained to Roy that he must concentrate on what class and powers he would like to obtain in exchange for his own. But at the last moment...he saw a butterfly and lost his focus. So while Lilina successfully became a Lord complete with altered armor for her gender and with a skirt instead of pants, Roy ended up with the exact same outfit Lilina wore as a Mage. Chibi-fication was not a result of the process, I just thought it would be deeply disturbing if I drew Roy full-sized.
Done all in SAI Paint Tool, just as a test on what I'm able to do with it, which is not much. Next time I'll just ink in SAI and color on Photoshop.

Class swap pics can be amusing sometimes. First Elice taking the role of Lord and Marth as a Cleric/Curate, now Lilina's a lord and Roy got screwed for an outfit. Hey, at least Marth looked good in his sister's clothes
Not trying to insult your work, I'm just sayin' that Roy's probably not too happy at how things turned out ^_^

FAV...This one is pretty good. It feels good on the eyes. Lilina looks pretty good. So... This is the alternate story line...
Lilina and Roy trained under the same mentor for magic. However, they found out Roy wasn't really good at it when they were both young. So instead, they put Roy into learning the way of the sword and left Lilina with magic.
Now, since everything is switched... Roy can now use magic (probably thanks to Ninian if people choose her as Eliwood's potential wife).
Pretty awesome. The background is not too bad. I like it.
And Roy's hair is like a pain to draw isn't it? Anways, first comment - woot~!

Ninian x Eliwood ALL THE WAY! mmmhmmm Roy's hair CAN be a pain to draw sometimes, especially when i try to draw it as small and as simple as i can. Cecilia probably thought Roy was too easily distracted so that's why he can't study magic, which is also why he messed up his part of the class swap.

Poor Lyn though, she just got cut out... Well, she did come in as a new installment whereas Eliwood and Hector came in Roy's game...so Technically... Ninian must have been the wife through logical reasoning (and that she's amazing! Manakete class rules~ unless you're facing them...that sucks like fighting Medeus one on one with Marth alone...)
OMG.... I have problems with Roy's hair. When I'm depressed or feeling bad I can draw Roy's hair pretty well. But lately, I've been more stressed than depressed so his hair looks like Ike and I hate it.
Roy's ability to not use magic when his mother (in Ninian's case) is like pure magic right there is sad lol

Your idea is a lot similar to what I would have posted on my entry had I finished it: Roy is still unable to use "beginner's" magic (fire, thunder, etc), but excels in advanced ice magic thanks to Ninian's spirit guiding him... although, it's a little more natural than in this picture XD

Good to see someone else thinking similar thoughts! Ice magic? Hmm, interesting theory. But the thing is that I find odd is that Roy's a fire type, isn't he? Maybe it's because of Eliwood's nature.

Funny. I like your theory though. Dragons are the most mythical, magical, mystic creatures to roam the FE series (besides Gods/Goddesses and the "legendary" heroes)

His affinity is fire, yes, but doesn't that have to do almost entirely with birth month and allegedly their personality (sort of like how we have the zodiac)?

Him, true true. Good point with the Zodiac thingy btw. You're right, could be so. Hmm,so yeah it oculd be possible. Or maybe he can do all sorts of magic, but he might excel in fire or ice kinda thing. Good theories nonetheless though.

For your game stats, isn't that supposed to be a good thing? Lords are generally weaker than their team (except for in Ike's case, because he can freakin solo through his games w/o a problem), right? Well I guess Lilina is supposed to be good since she is like an important character. But hey, I didn't play the game lol XD
