Getting into the spirit of things
This actually started off (after a lot of incomprehensible mess) upside down, as a planet exploding. But then I decided the piece of paper was too small to depict such an event with due grandeur, and sat on it for a while.
Literally, I physically sat on it for weeks and weeks and connected with it in a very intimate way. Then one day on a train I stood up, peeled it off myself and turned it around to see that it was obviously an intergalactic snowmanifestation of Christmas Fear.
So I gave it some eyes, a carrot nose, sharp teeth and even sharper accessories. A mild homage to that Nightmare Before Christmas-era Tim Burton aesthetic, and just creepy Frost in general
Anyway, Merry Christmas everyone! Happy holidays, Festivus etc

makes me think of Burton's Jack.
As always (I have the feeling I'm repeating myself) it's absolutely wonderful.

Yeah, it definitely recalls that aesthetic. I realised that as soon as I painted his little sharp teeth, haha

So cool! It reminds me of the snowmen in the Christmas edition of Dr Who, sent to terrorize small children after watching the sentimental mush of The Snowman ans the Snowdog...only yours is much prettier.

It's like you made a snowman and ripped out his soul so now he is a creepy soulless monster, then you used his soul to make a magical rainbow, then you ate that rainbow, and it made you feel frisky so you vigorously jerked one out on to poor frosty and gave him one hell of a fancy pearl necklace....
in other words... I love it!
