Second of two pieces I did for my drawing semester work at uni. You can see them both together here in my scraps

This one basically represents the stage when I finally do get to sleep and the dreams that ensue. Essentially it's just random imagery (eg. the banana). I wanted to create a kind of claustrophobic feeling to the dream because really, it's going to be over very quickly as it's time to get up soon lol. So it feels like all the dreaming I have to do gets crammed into short five minute bursts of randomness.
This should really be multi media, but as I passed it off as a drawing for the markers I may as well pass it off for one her too
It's basically all on paper mache type surface. Layers and layers of tissue and paper towel + alot of water and glue. It was a bit of a stupid idea really because when it dried it became like concrete...so it was like drawing on concrete with a felt tip pen, and we all know how hard that is..right?Anyway hope you like

looks spectacular. and who cares how hard it was to draw on, it worked wonders! and it looks awesome! hehe u like your rainbowness don't ya! i can always tell your work, you do have asignature style in the way u draw and ink. tis quite beautiful.

Aw thanks! Lol however it looks, i dont recomment this method if youre using pen. Rainbowness rocks. Funny story: I was always going to have colour, but I put more in than I originally was going to because in our drawing class we separated into two rooms and everyone in my side coincidentally worked in black and white, and everyone in the other used really bright colours lol. So I purposely made it colourful because I'm a such a non-conformist lol. Thanks for the fave too

Thanks man. It was just acrylic paint but because of the way the tissues were layered it ended up looking like spraypaint or like it was airbrushed, which was a cool fluke
