You caught him with that strength in your doujinshi, I think that was one of the things that caught my attention (among some other things~) and helped the inspiration.

Yes! I'm working right now on part 2! But only sketches at the moment, so I have the full doujinshi; and only need to outline when I'm finished with the story

YaY! I bet a lot of people are totally looking forward to it! it's got such a neat plot too~ and one that fits in with the anime series!
I've been a Yu-Gi-Oh fan since it started airing in the United States. I think it's one of those fandom's where once you get into it, you can never get out XD
I even have a near complete Marik cosplay that I made myself!
Just the wig needs extensions and the millennium rod needs work...and I gotta make the earrings.

How about you? Have you been a fan for a long time/ cosplay at all?

Sorry, just tell me if I am bugging you with my curiosity and excitement ^w^;

Ahh me too! I'm a fan since Yu-Gi-Oh hit the tv here in Germany! It's kind of a drug haha
Oh cool, a Marik cosplay! I did one by myself, too, but never worn it to be honest...
(because I don't go to conventions here in Germany)..
But I cosplayed when I was younger
I wish you luck on the earrings! They sure will turn out great!

Never wore it? You really should! I made mine 5 years ago and only finally wore it earlier this year to test it out (even though it looked like something a kid made XD My skills improved since then thankfully) I wore it to a Japanese festival. But I am working to make it ready for the big convention coming in summer!
You really should try attending a convention with friends and in cosplay. It's lots of fun~ especially when you run into people dressed like other characters from the same anime!

Really? That fails...I thought they were popular across the world. Except in Russia...I haven't heard of any conventions like this in Russia.
And you totally should visit one when you get a chance! Maybe even have a panel for yourself to sell your art and doujinshi! I think you would do pretty well~

Your stuff is good enough to be a legit doujinshi that you can totally sell. And then see posts about people who got it in the mail and are all excited about it, like the ones that occasionally pop up on tumbr XD
But keeping it a hobby is good as well~ mostly cause you can do it whenever the heck you want to do it and keep people in suspense so when you finally decide you want to finish the story and post it up everyone starts going all happy crazy and your messages blow up with excited comments from everyone who is a fan and people reblog it and more people see it and you get to sit there being all proud of your epic work. XD

I'll try to be a professional here in Germany but only a few publisher sell Mangas..
but tumblr and deviantart is fun enough

XDDD Knew it! Yeah, I had that issue before I got the idea for "Simarlin" then I just loved the heck out of the name and try to use it for most of my stuff~

That's great if you love the name! I named my tumblr years ago ryobkr (because I had no other idea) and now everyone knows me
with that name... And now I'm searching for a better one haha...
And yes! From now on I'll upload the rest of the doujinshi
