A tribute to my favourite football- /soccerteam, the Arsenal FC.I tried to create a the symbol of Arsenal, the legendary cannon, out of smoke. For those of you who are not familiar with the gunners of North London, visit www.arsenal.com
PLEASE Critique this piece in a constructive matter. I am not too satisfied with the fire myself, but I just could not make it any better than it is, so if you got any expirience with fire in photomanipulations: please shout! I would love to get some tips on how to make this better!
And also, I don't need to hear if you are not a fan of the gunners yourself unless you have also got something constructive to say.

This piece overall is quite pleasing! I don't watch soccer much but I love to play.
The fire is good so don't worry about it, and you did a great job with the smoke layers.
My only thing is this... the ball has huge lighting areas on both sides of it... yet there's shadows on that side too..
Also, the background could use some work, but it's okay I guess.

This is good stuff! I think it would be even better if the ball was not being squeezed underfoot, but propelled into the air, perhaps by the gun? Attached to the foot? Might need to do this in landscape format.
I like the way you have drawn the fire, smoke, and gun emerging from it, and integrated the club logo as well??

The smoke and the Cannon is the real art here. If you read the description you see why

I think it would make more sense if he was kicking the ball and the dust from the show made a canon, which would make it look like he had the power of a cannon in his kick and the soccer/football was the canon ball. But that's an idea for a different piece entirely XD
