Description Hello Everyone,
I have made an RPG Base for an RPG Sprite I am going to make. This work of art took me very long and was very, very hard, but, I have done it! Yay!
Please give me all the feedback you can give me; this is my first RPG Base and I want your feedback to improve it.
And remember, stay pixelated my friends!

Yours Truly
- Simeon

P.S - If you want to use the base, tell me in the comments below and I'll give you more editable version

It's really a good job! I like a lot! But I think you can improve a lil bit just by soften some of the edges (like in the shoulders), also, maybe work with the legs to get more shape, like the arms. I really like the shading but the I would change the outline, it looks a lil bit weird, maybe because it doesn't match that much with the shading and colors? The result looks pretty amizing and I know you did a great job here! I can't wait to see the other poses you have for this character! Keep doing this awesome job!

This looks great! For a first, you should be proud. Ways to improve would be to fix the head to be less angular, as Goodlyay said, and to carefully redraw the hip and thigh areas to be more form-oriented. Lighting the thigh isn't wrong, but brightening the whole thing makes it appear like the legs are bent--upwards-facing surfaces are lighted in this piece, so think of parts of the character's legs that may be upwards facing, like the back of the knee/calf area, or the kneecaps. All in all--good work!

Looks great! Looks a bit like the one from this finalbossblues.com/creating-an…

For crits, maybe the torso should come down one pixel more and remove a one pixel line off of the hips? For crits, I feel as if the shading on the legs doesn't match the torso and kind of throws the angle off.
Keep at it.

Btw. I had a lot of trouble shading the legs.

Thanks. I got the basics from there: finalbossblues.com/creating-an… , but still, I had so much trouble.

Not perfect but not bad at all for a base. It's a static pose on the legs, but the arms seems more like in a dynamic stence so you maybe will have to change a part or the other, depending on if you intend to make a idle pose or a "front" battle stence. Anyway, it's a good start for a base

I was just tinkering with it, playing with the arms and legs. Thanks though.

Looks good for the most part! My criticisms would be that the arms seem to be held out at an awkward angle that no one would actually hold their arms at. Also, the bottom of his face is a bit angular, which makes it a bit monkey-like in appearance.
