Description Sorry the description is so long! But it all matters! And its not all whiny, I promise!!

This drawing started out as nothing and has become the most important thing I have ever done. Every piece of this drawing has a message... or at least almost every piece does. So lets begin, shall we?
The message of this drawing is that you have to fight for the life you want to live. This is a message that I am truly beginning to understand the longer I live, though that hasn't been very long so far, haha.
I fight with my friends because I want to live as a christian, I fight with my family because riding horses is what I want to do with my life. I fight with people's general opinion of me when I wear clothing that I actually like rather than manure-stained shirts and baggy jeans. To them I am just a farm girl, but I actually like my clothing to fit and be beautiful. Shocker, isn't it?
I fight with my riding instructor because I don't have the perfect body for eventing. I'm tall and chubby with clumsy hands a short attention span. But I love it, and I have to fight every day to convince him and my other riding friends of that.
But I'm slowly finding out that its worth fighting for.
This isn't supposed to be complaining-its-all-about-me fest, in fact I'm getting to the drawing now. But all of that contributed to what went in to the sketch, so I thought I should tell you.

I gave her combat boots because she is a warrior and its the clearest way that I could convey that. She has close-fitting jeans on because that would be WAY easier to fight in than what Wonder Woman or Cat Woman wear... come on now people.
She has a simple shirt, but it has bold, pointing shoulders. That is because when someone is trying trying to be in charge or fill a room with their presence, they automatically set their shoulders back, making them look wider. The shoulders of her shirt give the impression that she is more in charge, tougher. Does that make any sense?
She has a simple, sweet face, not the face of a warrior. This is because anybody and everybody can fight, and I wanted her face to be a contrast to what she is wearing and the stance she is in. Her face is tipped to the side because she's asking a question. What question she asks is up to you, but to me she asks, "Why won't you fight?"
She has a peace sign around her neck (I think I did that right, but it could be upside down...) because I have found that the best way to fight to be the person you are is through kindness, hard work, and basically staying at peace with yourself. Nobody else will be at peace with you if you aren't at peace with yourself.
The bricks are a stable surface for her to sit on, but they give way to the words "Fight 4 Life" because they are just a skin that we develop. Inside, we have to be fighters if we want to survive.

Hopefully I'll get it colored soon, and outlined with my pretty black pen.
Until then, enjoy! And all comments are accepted below. Cruel ones are to be avoided if at all possible... but if not then I suppose I can't really stop you.

I've never really been one for mottos (or leaving comments) but I think I've got one now.

Please don't ever change.
