The term "steampunk" means modern or sci-fi tech in a form that resembles the construction techniques common to the Victorian Era. Which means that clockwork replaces electronics and cast-iron and brass replace more modern alloys.

I thought that the actual ''pre-quel" should have featured a "Mark 1" version of the Darth Vader we all know and love as opposed to the finished look we see in the actual trilogy. Something like this would've been neat.

I think its been resolved but just to point out in case of any further confusion, Caveatscoti was kind enough to grant me permission to use his superb artwork as a basis for me to create this 3D model from it for a competition on the CGS website.

pretty cool, but how would a steam punk lightsaber work? you could have put a samuri type helmet on his head, and it still would have worked. Still... pretty cool!

Cool... but more than Vader resembles that other Sith, how was the name.... the ancient one.... damn. I can't recall how was he called, but he had a mask like that.
