This is actually really good, for a first shot with self timer. I have a horrible time with my self timer..I always set it in bad lighting

Yes, it was my first real "whole-body-shoot" with self timer.
And I know the location wasn't the best, but I needed something to focus, so I chose the tree.

i like the concept and it's fun, but it looks like you're trying so hard to look like a model instead of just being you.
i think you have some really nice model features. keep practicing and you WILL get better. but most of all...have fun

with each person it's different in how they find that place. for some friends of mine it's like they are at a friends house and they're just talking with their friend who happens to have a camera.
and for some others it's just be silly and carefree like you're teasing someone you love.
