Here's is an updated version of my retro-style Transformers cover that I submitted to IDW for use in TRANSFORMERS: REGENERATION ONE #100 (which I drew in a Jack Kirby-esque style). Seeing as it wasn't used, I've decided to update it... removing the IDW logo and creators, and instead turning it into a 70's style WHAT IF? cover.As for Captain America... I hear you wondering why? Well... why not? In the 70's Godzilla fought the Avengers (I kid you not!).
UPDATE: Changed the face on Rodimus Prime, as I wasn't happy with the previous one... and altered the "Autobots... ASSEMBLE!" lettering at the recommendation of Transformers legendary scribe Bob Budiansky!

I actually went out and read that issue where the Avengers fight Godzilla since I remember reading it somewhere in the Marvel UK comics (I think) Furry mentions how he hated fighting big G.

Now that's something I wish had actually happened (even though the nearest we've had so far was Spider-Man meeting Gears when Marvel published the TF stories, and then the IDW Avengers/Transformers crossover)
