Here's my attempt at some digital inking, over some original Sal Buscema pencils using Manga Studio. I'm loving the different comic-style brushes you can use in that program, and am really pleased with how this has come out. The pencils are from an unused Marvel Universe Handbook image by Sal, which I absolutely love! Special thanks to Eelco Veldhuizen for allowing me to post this, as he owns the original pencils. I love those old-school brush lines. Simon, do you reckon Manga Studio is worth a purchase if you're already working with Photoshop or Painter?

I would definitely recommend it yes! You can download a free trial from the main site, and see if you like it. I'm really enjoying using the different ink brushes

As for Manga Studio... I definitely recommend it! It's taking a bit of getting used to, but I'm really enjoying using it. I'd love to see Sophie's work as well
